Jack Wilkie, who enjoys a lifetime background in woodworking, formed the company in 1974. Since then the company has been based on Jack’s dedication to quality craftsmanship and high-end construction. Its mission is to create an exceptional and unique building experience for each and every client.

Jack’s personal approach to every project means he is directly involved in quality control, cost decisions, team meetings and oversight of general day-to-day operations. His management style enables him to offer keen insight and solutions to complex construction details.

The Company Team

Jack Wilkie is especially proud of the long-standing team he has assembled. Many employees have been with the company for more than twelve years, some in excess of twenty years. His stewardship carries JWB in a progressive direction, keeping pace with the 21st century, involving frequent review and sharpening of its operations staff, and “top-grading” at management level.

The team concept at JWB involves each member in the process—from the owner and architect to the grassroots craftsman. As a result, JWB has been able to maintain close and long-standing relationships with architects, subcontractors, craftsmen and other professionals in the industry. These relationships are the foundation of JWB’s ability to provide the most cost-effective solutions to building homes of exceptional quality and value for our clients.

Strong relationships are the key to much of JWB’s success. Several satisfied owners have returned time and again to JWB for solutions to new projects. Some architects have been working with the company for more than twenty years. And subcontractors have often made special effort to make themselves available to participate in a JWB project.
